  • Editors are responsible for providing feedback to reviewers when required and for ensuring the constructive nature of reviewer feedback to authors.

  • They will negotiate conflict between authors and reviewers if required. Ideally, Editors will have excellent writing skills, knowledge of Indigenous peoples’ health, and strength invoking two-eyed seeing. Co-Editors may choose to split the working streams within TIJIH, where one editor leads editorial activities and one editor leads the CoP.

  • A Junior Editor may be recruited to receive mentorship in the editorial process and leadership from the Co-Editors.

  • Peer Reviewers are called to support the process as needed. However, we welcome applications on an ongoing basis.

Peer Review Coordinator

The Peer Review Coordinators will manage the editorial workflow. In particular, they will liaise between authors, peer reviewers, and the Core Team in a timely manner.

Regional Coordinator

The Regional Coordinators establish and assist with the organization of Regional Teams.
